Vintage Shoes

Hana
Beginning in the 19th century, the lace-up shoe became popular in fashion. For both men and women, shoes became more comfortable and functional. In 1806 specifically, the laced walking shoe became available for walks to and from the park. Handcrafted from all leather and featuring a small heel, our Hana has a very time-honoured look.

Morgan
The ballerina flat was inspired by shoes worn by both men and women in the 16th century called pompes. Additionally, the thin and flat style shoe was clearly modelled after the slippers dancers wore on stage. Handmade from soft, harness leather, our Morgan ballerina flat gives off a timeless, feminine silhouette.

Ellen
Born in the marshes of the Scottish highlands, the original brogue featured holes to help drain the shoe of excess water. Designed with a stylish cap toe, our brogue offers feminine, time-honored styling, with soft, washed leathers for a rich, heritage look and feel.

Harding
With origins linked to the beginning of the 20th century, the saddle shoe emerged as the quintessential style of the 1950s, when the immensely popular oxford design was a favorite for both men and women. Crafted with the original saddle-shaped decorative panel, our saddle shoe is made from vintage, worn leather for a distinctive look.

Daniel
The derby-style shoe first appeared in the 1850s as a sporting and hunting shoe all around Europe. The derby shoe was characterized as a less dressy version of the oxford. Our timeless derby is crafted from richly colored canvas for rich, masculine character.

Ryan
The thong sandal is probably the oldest form of footwear still worn today. Originally made from leather, wood and canvas material, our Ryan pays homage to the original and is handcrafted from sturdy canvas.

Nathaniel
Originally designed for Paratroopers in World War II, the jump boot is crafted with a full-height lace system for additional support upon landing. Designed with a cap toe, our jump boot features authentic broguing details.

Hayes
Originally designed to protect the feet of our ancestors from rocks and thorns, the Hayes is crafted from sturdy harness leather. Designed with simple slip-on styling, our authentic sandal features handstitching and vintage leather for a time-worn look.

Isaac
Fastened with straps and buckles instead of traditional laces, the original tanker boots were designed to help keep a soldier’s feet clear of moving machinery and other equipment. Outfitted with authentic details, our rugged style is inspired by those worn by tank crewmen in the Second World War.

Amelia
An All-American classic dating from the 1940s and 1950s, the saddle shoe was originally designed for sports such as tennis and squash. Our Amelia saddle shoe is tailored for a timeless, feminine look.

Veronica
Named for the ship and train engineers of the early 20th century, this boot is crafted on an English riding boot last with a tapered stovepipe leg. Soft, burnished leathers and archival hardware give our engineer its rich, time-worn look.
